My purpose in publishing

This blog will chronicle my journey into, and out of, the toxic world of Oasis Church, Waterloo and will expose the leadership's delusional and deceptive claims to be building an inclusive Christian community. This is not an attack on the majority of individuals who are part of that community, who no doubt, for the most part, have made their home at Oasis for the best of motives. Neither do I deny that people, both inside and outside of the church, have benefited from the work of this congregation. My focus will be on the leadership which has enabled abusers and liars in the name of inclusion. Whether or not you follow my posts over the coming months I'd ask you to consider this one simple (and what I think should be obvious) point: integrity must always take precedence over inclusion. Always.
